Just as I finished dinner, I received a message from an old
friend. It was a link to a video of The Undertaker and Kane from WWE sitting
together, reacting to their iconic match at WrestleMania XIV. As I watched the
entire video, a flood of memories came rushing back, swirling around in my
mind. I longed to share how incredible WWE was back in those days, but I knew
my son wouldn’t understand, his current favourite show is Paw Patrol.
I turned to my wife and started recounting the glory days of wrestling. She
listened, but I could tell she was only pretending to be interested. To be
honest, it’s been over a decade, almost two, since I last watched WWE. Time
flies, but those memories still feel as vivid as ever.
Back in the late ’90s and early 2000s, I used to watch WWE
religiously. The show always warned us not to try the stunts at home, but, of
course, we did anyway. Whenever my friends and I got together, it didn’t take
long before our discussions about WWE turned into impromptu wrestling matches.
Looking back, it’s a miracle none of us ended up with any permanent injuries, at
least none that I can recall.
I was a bit of an extremist when it came to WWE. I even
started my own WWE newspaper called The Slam. I’d use my friend’s
typewriter (the same friend who sent me the link today), and carbon paper to
create copies. I sold each issue for 1 INR to my classmates, parents, and even
my neighbours. Now that I think about it, I realize how incredibly cool my neighbours
were for humouring me and buying those papers. These days, I make it a point to
buy whatever the kids in my neighbourhood are selling, it’s my way of paying it
forward.
I wish I could see those old issues of The Slam just
one more time. I don’t remember exactly what I wrote, but I know I poured my
heart into it, describing everything I watched on WWE in the most exciting way
my young mind could imagine. Those were the days, full of passion, creativity,
and a whole lot of wrestling.
Not only that, I even started a group in my class
called The Big Red Machine, named after Kane’s iconic persona. To
recruit my classmates, I resorted to bribery, distributing my lunch money, 1
INR each, for a month. I remember overhearing one of the students whispered to
another, “I don’t even root for Kane, but I got paid.” It’s
funny now, but back then, I was dead serious about building my WWE-inspired
faction. Those were the days, when loyalty could be bought for a rupee, and
Kane’s mask and fiery theatrics felt larger than life. Looking back, it’s hard
not to laugh at how far I went to share my passion for wrestling with anyone
who’d listen (or accept a bribe).
It’s funny how something as simple as a video link from an old friend can bring back a flood of memories, reminding me of a time when life felt larger than life itself. Those were the days, when WWE wasn’t just a show, but a way
of life. Those moments from the late ’90s and early 2000s will always hold a
special place in my heart. Wrestling wasn’t just entertainment back then, it
was a shared experience, a source of creativity, and a bond that connected
friends, classmates, and even neighbours. And for that, I’ll always be
grateful.
Ah, family trips—a perfect recipe for chaos, laughter, and a little bit of madness. Our recent expedition to Champhai, Khawbung, and Lungdar with our 4-month-old baby girl and her mischievous 2.7-year-old big brother was nothing short of an unforgettable adventure. Buckle up and prepare for a rollercoaster ride through the hilarity that ensued!
First things first, packing for the trip felt like a mission impossible. Diapers, bottles, toys, strollers, snacks—our luggage resembled a traveling circus. We packed enough supplies to sustain a small army, but little did we know that our energetic toddler had secret plans to unpack everything as soon as we arrived.
As we hit the road, it didn't take long for the crying chorus to commence. Our baby girl had a knack for timing her meltdowns perfectly, ensuring that they coincided with the most inconvenient moments. Whether it was during our much-needed coffee break or when we finally found a picturesque spot for a family photo, she made her presence known.
The cries ranged from tiny whimpers to full-blown wails that could wake up the entire neighborhood. We became experts in deciphering the different cries—a hungry cry, a tired cry, a "why did you take away my brother's toy" cry—the list seemed endless. It was as if she had a secret baby code, communicating her every need through tears, leaving us scratching our heads in confusion.
Our toddler, bless his little heart, tried to console his baby sister with his own unique tactics. He'd sing his favorite nursery rhymes at the top of his lungs, attempting to drown out her cries with his enthusiastic rendition of "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star." It was a battle of decibels—a crying baby versus an aspiring opera singer in training.
The baby's cries became the soundtrack of our journey, serenading us with her ever-changing symphony of emotions. We found ourselves resorting to desperate measures to soothe her—singing lullabies, making funny faces, and even attempting questionable dance moves in the car. Oh, the things we do to bring a smile to our little one's face!
But amidst the chaos, there were moments of pure hilarity. Our baby girl had impeccable comedic timing, saving her biggest cries for the most unexpected situations. Picture this: a serene countryside scene, birds chirping, and suddenly, our baby girl unleashes a cry so loud it could rival a fire alarm. It was as if she wanted to ensure that the entire town knew of her presence.
The usual chorus of "Are we there yet?" and the sweet symphony of baby cries in the backseat. But amidst the chaos, we discovered that car rides could be transformed into karaoke sessions. Our toddler showcased his impressive vocal range, singing everything from nursery rhymes to TBC Zaithanpuia's song. Who knew a road trip could rival a concert?
The road to our destination was paved with anticipation and a healthy dose of toddler impatience. Our little explorer-in-chief couldn't contain his excitement, constantly pointing out every construction site we passed. But there was one thing that truly stole his heart—a JCB. Yes, that bright yellow excavator captured his attention like a moth to a flame.
Every time we spotted a JCB on the way, it was as if a magnetic force pulled us towards it. Our carefully planned itinerary took a backseat as we embarked on spontaneous pit stops to admire these construction marvels. Our toddler's eyes lit up with joy as we parked alongside these giants of the construction world.
One might wonder, what's so fascinating about a JCB? Well, for our little one, it was a larger-than-life toy come to life. He watched with awe as the excavator's mechanical arm gracefully lifted dirt and maneuvered with precision. It was as if he had discovered a real-life superhero, capable of digging holes and moving mountains. His admiration for JCBs became the soundtrack of our journey, with endless chants of "JCB, JCB!" echoing through the car.
Our toddler had a keen eye for spotting these magnificent machines from miles away. He'd excitedly point in the distance, yelling, "JCB ahead!" and we'd eagerly follow his lead, embarking on another unplanned detour.
As we arrived in Champhai, our little explorers couldn't contain their excitement. Our 2.7-year-old unleashed his inner adventurer, determined to conquer every playground in sight. From slides to swings, he fearlessly navigated the jungle gyms, leaving no stone unturned—literally, as he collected a pocketful of pebbles as souvenirs.
The journey continued to Khawbung, where we discovered the true meaning of multitasking. Again, picture this: attempting to change a diaper while simultaneously chasing a toddler who was convinced he could outsmart us in a game of hide-and-seek. We found ourselves engaged in a never-ending race against time, as our toddler's mischievous grin led us on a wild goose chase through Khawbung's charming streets.
In Lungdar, nature's beauty unfolded before our eyes. Our baby girl, experiencing her first encounter with breathtaking landscapes, couldn't help but express her awe in the most adorable ways—through gurgles, squeals, and a constant state of wide-eyed wonder. It was as if she had discovered a whole new world, filled with endless possibilities.
Throughout the trip, all of our rooms transformed into obstacle courses. Toys, diapers, and bottles scattered across the floor, creating a minefield of chaos. Our 2.7-year-old demonstrated his extraordinary talent for transforming any space into a playground, while our baby girl mastered the art of crying at the most inconvenient times.
But amid the craziness, there were moments of pure joy. Watching our children interact and create their own little adventures reminded us of the magic of family bonds. Whether it was our toddler teaching his baby sister how to crawl or the contagious laughter that filled the air, these fleeting moments made every chaotic second worth it.
As we bid farewell to Champhai, Khawbung, and Lungdar, we reflected on the ups and downs of our family trip. It was a journey filled with unexpected surprises, endless laughter, and a newfound appreciation for the beauty of chaos. And even though we returned home slightly sleep-deprived and in dire need of a vacation from our vacation, we wouldn't trade those precious memories for anything in the world.
So, to all the brave souls embarking on a family trip
"I don't have a choice" is a phrase that has been repeatedly used by countless individuals, but I firmly believe it's nothing more than a convenient excuse. The truth is, we always have choices available to us. Sometimes, however, we hesitate to make a decision because we are fully aware of the potential consequences.
Life can be perceived as remarkably simple when we realize that everything is ultimately a choice. Let's take a simple example: you're feeling hungry, and there's food on your table. In that moment, you can't genuinely claim that you have no choice but to eat. The reality is, you have the choice to not eat if you so desire. However, you also understand that if you opt not to eat, you'll remain hungry and may encounter stomach problems that would necessitate medication. The chain of consequences can continue. It is this understanding that leads you to the simple and logical choice of eating.
Consider another scenario where you know the food on the table is poisoned. In this case, you wouldn't even be tempted to take a bite. Your common sense guides you, clearly indicating which choice is the right one.
Life's essence lies in making decisions. It's a matter of choosing between options that align with our desires, values, and overall well-being. When we make the right choice, it brings a sense of fulfillment and contentment. Conversely, making the wrong choice often leaves us feeling regretful or facing undesirable consequences. This is the fundamental reality of existence.
There are instances where we desperately yearn for something, even when we are fully aware of the potential negativity and consequences associated with obtaining it. Take the example of meeting someone you're infatuated with. Despite numerous warnings from well-meaning individuals who caution that this person may not be the ideal match for you, you not only choose to disregard their advice but even rebuff them, insisting that they mind their own business. Regardless of the warnings, you still pursue the connection. Yet, sooner or later, a moment arrives when you realize the wisdom in those cautionary words, and you find yourself uttering, "I should have listened to them."
Nevertheless, there are moments when common sense alone is insufficient to make a decision. Opting for happiness doesn't automatically ensure a happier existence. It requires action and effort. Choosing happiness means actively engaging in activities and pursuits that bring joy and fulfillment to our lives. It means taking responsibility for our own well-being and actively seeking out the things that genuinely bring us happiness.
In conclusion, the notion of "I don't have a choice" is a fallacy we often convince ourselves of when we are hesitant to face the potential consequences of our decisions. Life is a series of choices, and the outcomes we experience are directly influenced by the choices we make. While common sense can guide us to some extent, true happiness and fulfillment require proactive engagement and deliberate actions. Remember, you always have a choice, and the path you choose shapes the course of your life.

Have you ever found yourself muttering, "Life's not fair"? I bet you have. It's a sentiment that has crossed all of our minds at least once. But the real question is, "Do you give up?" Hold on a minute, don't misunderstand me—I'm not here to discuss motivational topics. You know me, I'm not that kind of person, well, not that intellectually astute individual. I tend to sprinkle "LOL" into conversations, whether it's fitting or not. So, LOL.
Lately, life has thrown a lot at me. There have been countless moments where I've felt like throwing in the towel. Things haven't been running smoothly for quite some time now, and I've given up on many people. That's true—I'm the type of person who knows when to call it quits. I believe that recognizing when to quit is a smart approach to dealing with life's challenges. But don't get me wrong, I never give up without putting up a fight.
A couple of months ago, against the advice of loved ones who cautioned against it, I adopted a dog from someone. He's an incredibly lovable pet. I've grown so fond of him that despite the mistakes I've made as a pet owner, I want to keep him forever. I named him "Beetle."
I adore him, but unlike my previous pets, Beetle has many bad habits. I discovered that his previous owner never provided any kind of discipline. They simply let him do as he pleased. He refuses to eat in the morning and prefers sleeping during the day instead of at night. He makes noise throughout the night but snoozes away during the day. What a peculiar dog. When I take him for a walk, he leaves me stranded in a crowd and constantly worries me. I've tried teaching him, but he never seems to listen. I've given him everything he needs—food, a chewing bone, a special couch—everything I could think of that he might require. I've cared for him as if he were my own child. Wherever I go, I keep an eye out for things I think he'd enjoy. And I never hesitate to spend money on him.
However, I need to change all his bad behavior. I love him just the way he is, but that doesn't mean I should let him remain unchanged. His behavior could annoy people, and they might end up disliking him, and by extension, me. I've tried training him extensively. I've read books, watched YouTube videos, and read countless articles on how to train dogs. I've used every method I could gather. Many things have improved, so I haven't been a complete failure. But he continues to make the same mistakes again and again, despite my efforts. It's been almost three months, and I find myself dealing with the same issues repeatedly.
So, I think to myself, I love him, but if he continues to engage in behaviors like peeing under the bed or chewing my pillow, it will hurt me and make me angry as long as he's with me. This makes me feel like giving up on him. However, when I consider giving him up, I have no idea what the next owner might do to him given these unchangeable behaviors. They might end up causing him harm. Yet, the fact that he's shown even a slight amount of improvement gives me a glimmer of hope. Every morning, I wake up pondering whether I should give up or give it another shot. I've reached a point where I don't know when to quit because of my love for this dog.
So, there are moments when you might believe you're investing time in something that appears impossible. I'm not saying "don't give up," but rather, when hope seems fleeting, go for it even if you genuinely think you'll eventually surrender. The outcome may not always align with your initial hopes, but you can take solace in knowing that you made the effort. Ultimately, love is the only thing that truly matters.
It was a rainy and overcast Saturday in July, the clocks chiming eighteen. With a steaming cup of black coffee in hand, I gazed at the clouds, unaware that this evening would become one of the most pivotal moments of my life. I found myself at my aunt's house for dinner, the rain drizzling outside. I lingered, waiting for it to subside as I needed to ride my motorcycle back home. Along the way, I had plans to visit a friend.
As the rain intensified and the clouds grew angrier, it seemed as though nature conspired against my plans. Feeling the need to appease the elements, I hastily started the engine and embarked on my journey. However, the rain soon became so heavy that I was forced to take shelter momentarily. By the time I reached my destination, I was drenched—literally soaked to the bone. 😊 I found myself unsure of the exact location of my friend's house, prompting me to call him. To my relief, his sister answered and informed me that she was already en route to pick me up.
In the dimness cast by the streetlights, I discerned a figure about 50 yards away. As she drew nearer, her silhouette revealed a woman, standing at about 5 foot 5, her long reddish-brown hair catching the faint illumination. "Is that her?" I wondered aloud. As she approached, the streetlights accentuated her features, momentarily rendering me speechless. In that instant, the true essence of "stunning" dawned upon me, leaving me momentarily spellbound. My heart seemed to skip a beat as if suspended in time, my consciousness momentarily adrift. When awareness returned, I found myself gaping at her, my mouth agape in disbelief. Sensing her confusion, as we were strangers to each other, I grappled with the dilemma of what to say or do next. Despite my legs trembling with nerves, I resolved to take the initiative as a gentleman. As I approached her, my mouth opened, but my mind failed to conjure any coherent words, leaving me chuckling awkwardly, feeling utterly foolish. To my relief, she responded with a giggle and a gentle direction, "This way." Her voice, reminiscent of what I could only imagine as angelic, stirred something within me, captivating my senses.
I followed her lead, grateful for the towel she offered to dry myself off. She led me to my friend's room, where I found him momentarily present before he had to depart downstairs for an errand, leaving me in his company. As we waited for his return, the enchanting woman remained with me, offering her companionship. Through our conversation, I learned that she was, in fact, my friend's older sister—a delightful surprise. In those moments, I found myself silently pleading for my friend's delay, relishing the opportunity to continue our exchange.
It was during our conversation that I discovered her passions—she was an avid reader, a dedicated teacher, and harbored a deep affection for children. Her demeanor was consistently warm, her smile a constant presence. While some may dispute the notion of love at first sight, what I experienced felt undeniably akin to an instant connection, perhaps even a crush at first sight.
Regardless of classification, I couldn't deny the rapid acceleration of my heartbeat, the slight tremble in my hands, or the sudden loss for words that overcame me in her presence. Such feelings hadn't stirred within me since 1969. And so, without hesitation, I embraced the notion of harboring affections for this remarkable, captivating woman.
Since my friend couldnot come
back (what are the chances, right?), with all the courage in me, I said “Do you
wanna grab a cup of coffee someday?”, she was, I could tell, a lil bit shocked,
and she nodded her head..
“Why not?
“ahh.. mm.. thanks” (what the
fudge did I just say)
“like.. when?”
“I don’t know, whenever you want,
maybe now?” (whenever you want followed by maybe now, I hate myself)
“Now? What about ben?”
“Oh ben, lemme give him a call” (
yes I know, I totally forgot about him, what a good friend am I)
Ben returned, apologizing profusely for leaving me with a stranger due to his spat with his girlfriend. Assuring him that there was no rush and that I was actually enjoying the company of "the stranger," he sounded visibly relieved, continuing to apologize. Little did he know, I was having the time of my life.
So, that evening marked the beginning of my journey with this beautiful woman. Despite what my friends said about it being just a crush, I didn't concern myself with the future. What mattered was the present—she made me happy, I liked her, and (hoping) she liked me. That was all that mattered.
Reflecting as I write this, I realize that life is full of ups and downs. Mistakes happen, and challenges arise, but it's human nature to fight back. Sometimes, the best course of action is simply to wait. When one door of happiness closes, another one opens.
Cheers to embracing the present moment and seizing the happiness it brings.
"Back off, back off!" one of my friends screamed, and a sudden hush fell over the room as the power supply abruptly vanished. I watched as my computer screen displayed the dreaded word "disconnected." Since the backup battery on my UPS was far from reliable, I had no choice but to turn off my computer. Such is the nature of our Dota 2 sessions—filled with screams, laughter, shouts, and the occasional curse. 😊 Glancing at my watch, I noted that it was a quarter past five in the evening. Grabbing my phone, I checked for missed calls and messages, aware that it had been ringing several times during our gaming session. True enough, I discovered a missed call from an unknown number. Curiosity piqued, I used Truecaller to identify the caller, only to find a name that meant nothing to me.
As I placed my phone back on the table, a memory from a couple of nights ago suddenly resurfaced. It had been quite an eventful evening, to say the least. Let me start from the beginning: I reluctantly attended a party that a friend had been inviting me to for quite some time. The gathering was actually a formal pre-wedding party. Now, I must admit that parties aren't really my thing, and I hardly knew anyone in attendance. In fact, my acquaintance with the person who invited me was mostly limited to our Dota 2 sessions. We had spent countless hours playing and screaming together, but we had only met face-to-face a couple of times. Despite my reservations, I thought, "What the hell," and dressed up for the occasion.
Upon arriving at the venue, I was greeted by a bustling crowd and security guards in uniform managing a guest list. I stepped forward and asked them to check if my name was on the list. To my embarrassment, they couldn't find it. But then, an idea struck me, and I requested that they search for my Dota 2 nickname. Surprisingly, that's when they recognized me—the person who had invited me didn't even know my real name.
I entered the party, the music blaring and people dancing on the floor. I scanned the room, searching for my friend, but he was nowhere to be found. Feeling out of place, I retreated to a corner. The strange thing was that I didn't recognize a single face in the crowd. Now, don't get me wrong—I know a lot of people in this city. So, if I say it was weird, trust me, it was weird. As I pondered this, a thought crossed my mind: "I'm getting old." Spotting a mini bar nearby, I approached it not to grab a drink but to inquire about my friend's whereabouts. Unfortunately, the responses I received were vague: he was here, he was there—I couldn't get a clear answer. Disappointed, I stood in the corner, leaning against the wall with my phone in hand. I attempted to make a call, but the reception was abysmal. Frustrated, I came up with the brilliant idea of taking a few photos to prove I had been there and then promptly leaving that godforsaken place. Just as I was setting up my phone for a secret selfie, something caught my eye.
I caught sight of a mesmerizing figure, yet strangely, no one else seemed to notice her presence. She was truly captivating, adorned in a garment that exuded elegance reminiscent of renowned designers like Alexander McQueen and Calvin Klein. Her eyes gleamed with an indescribable radiance, a sight that left me in awe. I recalled the old saying to avoid direct eye contact with mysterious beings, but I couldn't resist gazing into her enchanting eyes. In that moment, her beguiling smile transported me to an ethereal realm, like ascending through heavenly layers, although I can't claim to know the exact composition of heaven. Lost in her presence, I found myself unable to utter a word, grateful that my jaw didn't betray my awe. "Bride's or groom's?" she inquired, prompting me to check behind me to ensure she was addressing me and not someone else. Indeed, she was speaking to me. With a stuttering voice, I managed to reply, "Gr-groom's." We engaged in conversation, and I shared the story of how I ended up at the party. When I mentioned that I knew my friend through Dota2, she laughed, quoting the familiar phrase, "boys never grow up."
Given the deafening music, I asked her, "Do you dance?" She shook her head and responded, "I don't really dance or attend parties. When I saw you, you didn't seem to be enjoying yourself either, which is why I approached you." It was true; everyone else was immersed in dancing or singing, clutching glasses in their hands. Slowly, we made our way outside the hall, finding a spot to rest our tired legs. Numerous thoughts raced through my mind. Honestly, I wasn't actively seeking a relationship, as a series of events in my recent past had left me guarded, concealing my dreams and aspirations. I feared that if I opened my heart again, I would be vulnerable to the same pain. The void that ensnared me felt insurmountable. Even when I engaged in casual conversations with other women, the weight of my emotional baggage seemed too burdensome, causing me to let them go rather than burden them. Yet, in that very moment, I realized that I couldn't care less about that baggage.
Outside, the biting cold wind whipped around us, and I couldn't help but recall the countless times I had witnessed such scenes in movies—the classic move of offering her my jacket. Let me tell you, it proved to be a terrible idea; it was freezing. However, not a single ounce of regret crossed my mind. Almost effortlessly, our hands found each other's, and in that simple gesture, a profound connection formed. As we stood there, she confided in me, revealing that she, too, carried a weighty burden—the haunting remnants of past mistakes. Her words gripped my attention, for they echoed the thoughts I longed to share about my own missteps. I could truly empathize with her, and as a result, I refrained from imposing any pressure. We exchanged only our names, deliberately omitting addresses and phone numbers. "Perhaps it's best to leave things as they are and let fate decide," I suggested, and her radiant smile conveyed agreement. We made a pact not to delve deeper into each other's lives, trusting that if the universe intended for us to reunite, it would guide us back together.
A momentary silence settled over us, tinged with a hint of awkwardness. Just then, my friend, who had invited me to the party, finally located me and expressed his relief at finding me. I noticed that he and the beautiful lady were unfamiliar with each other, so I took the opportunity to introduce them. The enchanting lady, realizing it was time to depart, I offered to accompany her to her vehicle, she declined, stating, "No, if we leave it to the universe, you won't know my vehicle's number." With that, we bid our farewells, and she rode away. My curious friend inquired about the encounter, but I simply informed him that it was a long story.
After returning home, my thoughts were consumed by her. I even approached most of the people at the party, recounting every detail I could remember, yet nobody seemed to recognize her. All I had was limited information—her name, the color of her dress, and the knowledge that she rides. Would I ever cross paths with her again? What lay ahead in this unpredictable world? Determined to remain calm, I resolved to let the universe unfold its plans for me.
Whenever i updated my blog I kept telling myself “I’m
awesome”. Coz I always am. Tee hee.. At least I think so. But being awesome
doesnot mean I am winning evrything. Sometimes I lost, but even when i did, i
lost with my head held up high. It’s not that it doesn’t hurt. It’s called ‘overcoming’.
You can sense that you are losing the game even though
the game has just started, but sometimes you decided to keep on playing just
for the sake of your opponent, so that they can perhaps have the time of their
lives. But it’s hard to play along if you know you are losing it anyway. So
sooner or later, you decided to quit and it hurts both the players.
Continue playing or quit it right away seems like the
only options. But there’s always another one. The third option is to continue
playing to win. Hoping for the wrong move of your opponent. ‘Hope’ is the only thing stronger than ‘Desperation’.
Even a single mistake can effect the whole game. But you have to play it more
carefully, and observe every single move of your opponent.
So, you continue playing hoping for the best, the result
may not be as you hoped for, but it doesnot hurt you because you can tell
yourself that you are not giving up without a fight, you tried your best and it
was not good enough. So what, you can hold your head up high losing. And even
your opponent can hold his/her head up. So, in the game I am playing, i decided
to go for the third option and am damn proud of myself.
And just to be clear, I am talking about the game of Chess
:).
A strange feeling entered my mind lately for some reason. It's hard to explain, it's complicated and never saw it coming. I kinda hate this "feeling" but I don't want it to be over. I never thought I would have this kind of feeling but somehow it's true. There's nothing I can do to stop it, which I by the way tried so many times.
This Overwhelming Enthusiastic Feeling, which I called OEF and sounded like 'OOF' is getting stronger and stronger and seems like there's no ending at all. I kept reminding myself that it's getting over soon. And never I let my guard down because I know that the Universe sure knows how to deal with people like me.
Alright, Alright, You may wonder and have no clue what am babbling about. haha.. Blame you not, coz the things I just said doesn't make any sense. Although it may make sense to someone.. But whatever, All I'm trying to say is that I met two new girls in my life, both are smart, intelligent and well respected. But they have completely different effect in my life.
One of them is like, a hungry lioness in her den waiting for it's prey who doesn't care anything about others and doesnot give a rat's ass about others but I somehow need her and feels at home in her presence. Never met her before but became a part of my life whether I like it or not. I never utter a word in her presence unless it's really necessary. My soul sometimes went like, " why are you here? I mean why? why? why?".
And the other one is completely the opposite. She's the best thing that ever happened in my life. My soul went like, "Where Have you Been?? I've been looking all over for You". Somehow she changes everything about me. (Now I hope the first two para kinda make a lil sense). I kept thinking of her...like .. all the time. Can't get her out of my mind. I don't care if it's gonna last for a week, a day or an hour, everything seems to be completed when I'm with her.
But in this complicated world, complications emerged out of nowhere. To be honest I don't even want to talk about it. I finally like a girl enough to be my wife and every thing's going backward. I hate the stupid society we live in, why are we making things so complicated.. Why can't we just live as one? I hate this denomination's feeling. I don't want to yell about it. It's just that, the denomination does not allow us to be with each other for the rest of our lives.
Any-who, I may never marry the girl that I really liked. I do not have any reason to be angry with God though. I know HE can make everything okay, maybe HE wanted to teach me something. I can't live without HIM even for a single sec. So I'm still glad that HE gave me this little moment of happiness. And yeah by the way I hope my Boss doesn't understand that I was talking about her as the first girl.. lol. Peace
Xauz
Girls, lemme tell you a lil secret about dating a guy.. as a guy myself I should never tell you these, but here are few which are at the tip of my tongue.
1. Let him choose a place to go, but use a lil bit of manipulation and go to your choice anyway. For instance, "yeah that is a nice place, yeah, let's go there, but i just thought we are going to 'that' place.. but..but, it's fine, let's go there". We understand that 'It's fine' means 'Hell no, we are not going to that shitty place'.
2. Have a great sense of humor, or act like you have one. Laugh everytime when he makes some stupid jokes or comment. It doesn't matter if you get the jokes or not.
3. If, and only if there's any argument between you two, lemme be straight, 'silent treatment' is not a punishment girls. For guys, it's a relief. We are like, "Ohh.. Finally.. phew". Instead, ask him all the stupid questions, like, "I don't understand, why do they serve chicken but not pork", "i don't understand, why do they let us sit here, i want to sit there, you go and talk to the waitress, or talk to the manager" etc..
4. When you are in a restaurant or shopping mall or whatever, most of the men like it when girls pretending to take care of the bills.. It's not that we really want them to pay for it, no, not at all. I personally hate girls who doesn't even pretend to do that as much as i hate guys who let the girls pay. We are well aware of the fact that you don't really want to pay for it and just do some 'waving thing' with your hands pretending to search for money the moment you put your hands in your purse. But we like it.
These are all I can think of right now.. Let's just say "to be continued.. or not".
Looking at the topic you may think am talking about effect on photography or whatever.. or you may not think anything at all.. No, Of Course not, I'm not talking about the effect in photography, it's kind of obvious for those who know me well, yes, you are right!! It's about girls in rain..
While I was chilling today, as usual, being awesome.. a friend of mine called me and asked me to take her to clinic as her husband was not available. And when we were in the clinic, suddenly a heavy rain was falling down. It was so heavy and sudden that even some vehicles stopped for a while.
From the small and humid waiting room, I was staring from the little window and saw a lot of people wadering in the rain. When it was raining heavily, all of a sudden, an wet girls, when i said wet, not the dirty wet, i mean wet hairs, wet clothes..etc.. if you know what i mean.. haha.. all of a sudden they look so sexy :). They seemed so attractive at the moment. And I could not take my eyes off them.. The best part was the street was full of hot and sexy girls at that instance. That was the exact moment when Mr. Stinson's stupid theory came into my mind.
Who's Mr Stinson? you may wonder, lemme explain about 'The Cheerleader Effect' by Barney Stinson. People who watch "How I met Your Mother" are well aware of Mr. Stinson. The cheerleader effect is nothing but when you see many girls at the same time, they look wonderful, gorgeous and beautiful. But when you look closely one by one at different time, they are not that good, which by the way reminds me every-time I walk accross Hrangbana College. lol.
Any-who, I opened my eyes wider and had a closer look at them. Yeah, he was right.. It's definitely the Effect which i called 'The Rain effect'. Yeah, they look disgusting and stopped staring immediately.
So, the moral of this story is that I should stop writing useless and stupid articles and get a life. :)
By the way, on my way home, i was in the rain and was 'wet' as well. I was wearing gray tee, apparently gray shirt look disgusting in the rain. Peace!!
I hope you are doing fine in heaven. How is everything out there? have you seen all the martyrs? How are they doing? Is it similar to what we have imagined down here? I've got a lot of questions to ask you. I hope you can answer me face to face. But that's just another useless wish i have. That's alright as long as I know you are doing great there. You know, for the first time after you left this miserable place, I came to your most beloved village and you know, the first thing i did was visiting your grave. It was clean and very beautiful. I though to myself "this is where the world's greatest grandpa lies". Yknow, your house, our house is so empty when you are not around. I don't know what happened it was so damn empty. There's nothing to do but to visit your room. There's no one, even my grandma. The last time I came to your house you were there to welcome me and shake my hands with a smile on your face.
Oh my goodness, it's been ages since I last updated this neglected page of mine. I must admit, it's not because I haven't been experiencing new things, but simply because I've been too lazy to keep up with it. However, I can't contain my excitement about all the incredible experiences I've had lately.
First and foremost, let me tell you about the upcoming event that has us at Project Zero buzzing with anticipation—the First Annual Anime Cosplay Con in Mizoram. Ever since the idea sparked in our minds, we've been eagerly looking forward to it, and let me tell you, it's going to be awesome. Looking back, I can't help but laugh at our adventures in the quest for sponsors. To be honest, it was quite a chaotic experience.
For those who are unfamiliar with the concept, the Anime Cosplay Con is an event where people can dress up as their favorite anime characters and immerse themselves in the world of anime. It's a popular trend in many countries, and even in our beloved Hamara Bharat, there have been a few similar events.
I can already hear some of you asking, "What's the use of it?" Well, let me pose a similar question to you: "What's the use of a science exhibition?" These events provide a fantastic opportunity for younger kids and anyone interested in showcasing their talents. It's not just about dressing up; it's about expressing oneself and celebrating creativity. Such endeavors contribute to our mental well-being and overall growth as individuals. Happiness is what we all seek, after all. Take a moment to ponder that.
Now, let me give you some background on Project Z.E.R.O. (Zeal Entrepreneur Reformation Operation). It was established on April 10th, 2012, with the aim of encouraging and supporting individuals interested in the field of arts. We provide guidance, counseling, and create opportunities for people to advance their skills and interests.
But let's get straight to the point. We are incredibly excited about the Anime Cosplay Con, and it seems like kids from all corners of the state share our enthusiasm. It's not just about showing off your costume; there are prizes to be won, totaling over 50,000 INR. We have created four categories for the prizes: Male, Female, Kids (under 12 years), and the People's Choice Award. For more details on the prizes, rules, and regulations, you can visit our website at http://www.projectzeromizoram.com.
Now, let's move away from the promotional stuff. I must say, organizing this event hasn't been an easy task. We had to navigate government registrations and all sorts of bureaucratic hurdles. We've spent countless hours searching for sponsors, attending meetings, and even traveling long distances. We've poured our hearts and souls into making this event a reality. There were moments when we felt like giving up, but we pushed through.
Of course, controversies and naysayers are always present. Some people claim that events like these aren't aligned with their religious beliefs or whatever. But not everything revolves around religious matters. We often create our own boundaries and impose unnecessary guilt upon ourselves. We've faced our fair share of criticism, but we've learned to move forward and give our best to make our dreams come true. Sure, there have been countless suggestions and opinions, and at times, I fear we might end up like the father and son with the donkey in the famous Aesop's fable. But despite it all, I'm incredibly proud of our hardworking crew (even though I must admit I haven't worked as hard as some of the others... lol).
Anyway, now that this has turned into quite an essay-like article, let me get straight to the point. I want to extend a heartfelt invitation to all the readers of this blog (even though I'm aware that hardly anyone is reading it) to join us and experience the amazing Anime Cosplay Con on the 28th of December 2012 at Millennium Rooftop. We are putting our utmost efforts into making this event a memorable one, and we want you to be a part of it.
This day is all about you, the attendees. We want you to come and enjoy the party to the fullest. It's a celebration of creativity, passion, and a shared love for anime and cosplay. We've put in countless hours of work, faced challenges, and made sacrifices to make this event possible. And now, we want you to have an incredible time and create unforgettable memories.
So, mark your calendars, gather your friends, and join us at the Anime Cosplay Con. It's an opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of anime, dress up as your favorite characters, and connect with fellow enthusiasts. It's a day to embrace your inner geek, showcase your talents, and celebrate the vibrant community we have.
I assure you that we are committed to delivering an event that exceeds your expectations. From the exhilarating cosplay contests to the diverse range of prizes, we have something for everyone. It's a chance to win recognition for your creativity and passion. But above all, it's an occasion to come together, have fun, and share in the joy of being part of something truly special.
So, come and enjoy the party with us. Let the energy and excitement of the Anime Cosplay Con fill the air. We can't wait to welcome you with open arms and witness the incredible costumes, the infectious enthusiasm, and the unforgettable moments that will unfold. This day is for you, and we're thrilled to have you be a part of it. See you on the 28th of December 2012 at Millennium Rooftop.
Date: 10th April 2011 Place:Bangalore (This topic is our assignment, it is supposed to be short speech, but I ended up writing a short story as i was in the story too much.:). It is pure fictional )
This topic reminds me of the incident which happened to me while I was in 5th grade. It was just like yesterday because I still remmember the feeling exactly. I had a very good friend named John. We were always together not only in the school, but also everywhere else. We used to do everything together, we teased some girls together although he talks very less. Whenever we have any kinds of problems and have any kind of troubles, we helped each other without any hesitation. The moment the school hour was over, we rushed home and changed our clothes and meet up again in our own rendesvous as soon as possible. When people called my name, the first thing came to their mind was John and vice versa. We didn’t hang out with anyone else, we were happy just the two of us and just the way we were. At night when we were at home, i always tell my mom and dad about John, and he did the same.
One fine evening, my dad bought ‘The Hero Bicycle’, which was the dream of every boy of my age at that time. Words couldnot described how happy I was. I was overjoyed and John was so happy for me too. I hugged my dad saying thanks a hundreds of time. John and I took the bike to the street but we didn’t know how to ride at all. So we called a group of rich kids, who were older than us to teach us how to ride. Theirs was older than my bike so they were interested in teaching us how to ride. Since I was the kid with ‘new bike’, they kinda like me, but i could see that they didn’t like John so much. But since he was my good friend, they didn’t want to say anything to me directly, instead they started saying something,”How can you still hang out with him?” or, “He doesn’t have a bike, so you two are slowing us down” etc. Being a kid, I didn’t really understand their intensions, but eventually i started to ride bike without inviting John.

I was bored and looking for some guitar tabs through google. While I was browsing one thing came into my mind,"will it be possible to jam online?", so I just type 'online jam session' and hit search. So I found this website http://onlinejamsessions.com which really interested me. So i go through the home page and found out that Online Jam Sessions is more than just Online Jams, it's a new way for musicians to collaborate and even start an internet Band. Music Teachers are able to teach an entire music class in one session on Live multi screen video. The exposure that OJS is going to bring to the industry for musicians that never had that chance is going to be the most unique ever seen.
You want to start an "Internet Band" so here's what you do;
I browsed the web having no idea what i was doing. I was bored and have nothing to do at all, to be honest I have something to do which i don't feel like doing at all. So I found this very interesting website One Page Per Day: A Web typewriter for Authors. Although the name says one page per day, you actually can write more than one page if you want.
It's an ideal place for writers(Am not a writer though). You don't have to create account if you have a google account.(Well, who don't?). You can log in straight with your google account. You can write whatever you feel like and I personally think that it's the more fun, cooler, next generation of blogging. You don't have to worry about people reading your blog, you don't have to worry whether people check your blog or not, you can rest assure that people are reading whatever you write because a lots and lots of people are writing and reading. You also can read other’s writing by clicking glimpse at the right corner of the page. The best part is, whatever is on your mind, what ever you feel like, you can share it to the world.
So, my friends and whoever read this post, i suggest you check the website and write whatever you like and share the world your thoughts and ideas. And the credit goes straight to you as you logged in with your google account.:). Seriously, You'll love it.... http://www.onepageperday.com/
